As Kickstart's founder, Susan George has over fourteen years of marketing experience, with an emphasis on creative marketing communications for start-up companies. Depending upon a project's scope, Susan calls upon an extensive network of marketing professionals to support her efforts.

Prior to starting Kickstart Marketing, Susan was a Director at SutherlandGold Group in San Francisco, helping consumer technology companies such as MobiTV, AirPlay, FON and MyWaves with their public relations and marketing strategies. From 2002 until 2005, Susan served as Director of Marketing Communications at Danger, Inc. where she managed Danger's international public relations program, brand strategy development, product packaging strategy and corporate website design as the company launched its T-Mobile Sidekick product in the US and internationally. Prior to Danger, Susan worked for Wheelhouse Corporation helping companies such as Mazda and Barclays Global Investors to develop their brands through customer relationship marketing strategies. Susan spent two years as Director of Marketing at a nonprofit dedicated to urban development in Atlanta.

Susan began her career at Manning, Selvage & Lee Public Relations in New York, where she was an account executive in the consumer marketing and healthcare practices from 1993-1996.

Susan received an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Chicago, where she was an Austin Scholar. Susan also holds a BA in English from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia.
